30th October-1st November 2026 at the FRCC hut Brackenclose in Wasdale Head. Situated right at the heart of Lakeland and at the birthplace of English mountaineering, it is the ideal place to get some exercise in before the end of year festivities.

Peter and Carol Baker are hosting the meet and are looking forward to catering for you. We have 12 places booked but more can be arranged and camping is available in the grounds. Hut fees are £14 per night plus food.

Please note that this is a catered meet. Anyone with specific dietary requirements must contact the meet leader well in advance to see whether these can be accommodated or not. This is entirely at the meet leader’s discretion. Catering is provided on the understanding that the absence of any allergens cannot be guaranteed. If you have any specific concerns, discuss them with the meet leader and please consider self-catering.
