Thursday 5th – Sunday 8th March 2026 at the SYHA’s hostel in Aviemore, a short walk from the town centre and within easy reach of the ski car parks for access to the Cairngorm 4000s and the extensive and varied climbing in the Northern Corries. If snow conditions are going to be good, it’s going to be here.

We have four private rooms booked at the hostel with Anca Pordea and David Large providing the catering, which will be suitable for preparation as and when required. Given their taste for extended days (nights?) on the hill, meet attendees can expect to put the meals on the table themselves unless they want to eat at breakfast time! Cost for accommodation will not be more than £25 per night
