13-15th February 2026 at the Midland Association of Mountaineers’ hut Glan Dena, in the Ogwen Valley. One of the best situated huts in Wales, you step out of the door onto the slopes of the Carneddau whilst crossing the road lands you at the foot of Tryfan’s North Ridge. With daylight increasing towards the spring, opportunities for classic circuits and excursions are many. We have 16 places booked but it may well be possible to add a few more and camping is available for one or two small tents.
