In May, we usually have a week-long meet to either Scotland or Ireland. Usually blessed with little rain and no midges, we have explored much of the Scottish highlands and islands, with trips across the Irish Sea to Donegal, Connemara, Kerry, the Wicklows and the Mournes in recent years. The 2025 meet to Skye was outstanding with unbroken blue skies all week and almost no midges. Members were out in the Cuillins, traversed the Trottenish Ridge and achieved quite a few personal objectives such as climbing the In Pinn.
